On July 14, 2025, the CIS Summer Research Program officially commenced at Shanghai Jiao Tong University's Qibao Campus.
This program brought together nearly 800 students from renowned universities and high schools worldwide, along with close to 50 professors from top-tier institutions such as Harvard University, MIT, the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge.
With guidance from an elite international faculty team and a meticulously designed curriculum, the two-week on-site research initiative guided participants through hands-on projects, cutting-edge academic exploration, and global perspective-building. Through interdisciplinary coursework, research projects, and cultural exchanges, the program provided young scholars with a forward-looking platform for scientific practice and personal growth.
A highlight of this year's program was the direct involvement of 47 distinguished professors from leading global universities, who contributed to every stage—from curriculum development to research mentorship. Drawing from the latest advancements in their respective fields, they delivered cross-disciplinary, internationally oriented courses spanning biomedicine, data science, financial engineering, engineering technology, and the humanities and social sciences.
